Custom Packas

Custom Cuben Fiber Packas are now available.  Each one is custom made to your specifications. Average weight is about 6.5 oz depending on size and add-ons. I use the .74 oz/yd2 cuben fiber fabric and I glue-tape the longer seams.  The packcover, hood, and zippers are sewn.  Cost is $300 + $5 shipping for a base model and that includes full seam taping. 

I also make adjustments on the factory made nylon Packas.  Typically, I increase the packcover size to accomodate bigger packs.  A basic adjustment, which involves replacing the top and bottom of the pack cover, is $25.  This procedure simply removes the pleats in the packcover with an oval shaped piece and adds about 1000 ci.  I can go taller too by adding an extension piece under the new top.  This cost is $35 for an added height of 1 ft or less.  Be aware that the factory Packas come seam taped.  However, when I make adjustments the seams I sew will not be taped or seam sealed.  You will need to manually seam seal these yourself.
